Multilateral Conventions:
- New York Convention: Yes (ratification/accession: 22 December 1972); reservations: reciprocity, commercial disputes; on 10 February 1976, Denmark declared that the Convention shall apply to the Faeroe Islands and Greenland.
- European Convention: Yes (ratification/accession: 22 December 1972); reservations: The instrument of ratification contained a declaration to the effect that the Convention for the time being would not extend to the Faeroe Islands and Greenland. In a communication received on 12 November 1975, the Government of Denmark declared that it had withdrawn the above-mentioned reservation, the decision to take effect on 1 January 1976.
- ICSID Convention: Yes (ratification/accession: 24 April 1968); reservations: Denmark excluded, by a notification received on May 15, 1968, the Faroe Islands; by notification received on October 30, 1968, Denmark extended the application of the Convention to the Faroe Islands as of January 1, 1969.
- Energy Charter Treaty: Yes (ratification/accession: 22 August 1997); reservations: none.
